Hey there! Thanks for opening this up.
Time flies when you’re having fun.
To me, that means:
Creating content
Conducting marketing experiments
Connecting with others working on interesting things
But all things have an end - after three months of work, I’m wrapping up with After Hour Projects.
Onto new things; but before that, time to relax and get outside some more.
Meanwhile, enjoy my essay summarizing this experience and a few good reads.

Essay
100 Days of After Hour Projects
I was going to write something connecting Camus’ quote on finding summer within oneself to 500 days of summer, but I gave up…
Instead, read this as a reflection on the crash course I went through on running a content website: what these three months were like, how I approached each step in building a blog, podcast, newsletter, and online course, and learnings along the way.
Basically, my answer to what I’ve been up to these past few months.
Strategy
Charlie Munger on Getting Rich, Wisdom, Focus, Fake Knowledge and More
Selected quotes from the book, "The Tao of Charlier Munger", on sayings from Berkshire Hathaway's Vice Chairman, Charlier Munger.
Social Capital’s 2019 Annual Letter
Chamath's annual letter to stakeholders of Social Capital.
This covers: a comparison of today to the end of the Gilded Age and start of the Progressive Era, his thoughts on big tech and space, and some introspection.
A great summary of market conditions and some things to think about too.
Innovation
The History of Office Design
Offices went from open (so managers can see assembly line workers) to closed (cubicle farms) back to open (today's designs).
Thoughts
Being Alone
A juxtaposition of the author’s experience hosting “Tea With Strangers” and how one can relate that to themselves.
"You can’t address your own experience of loneliness just by finding connection with the people around you. You need to find connection with yourself."
Viva Las Vegas?
Riva Tez compares San Francisco's self-inhibition when it comes to ambition with Las Vegas' former exuberance.
"In order to build, we need to dream, and to be able to dream we need to accept the risk that we may fail, that things may hurt, that life is not and cannot be fair."
Until Next Time
That’s it for this issue!
